Details: 30x40" homemade linen canvas in a black real wood frame
In painting this, I was inspired by the strength and beauty of seemingly ordinary rocks along the trail I walk with every day. Earthy tones blend with rugged textures, mimicking the layers of sediment and the slow erosion that shapes landscapes over time.
This original painting is painted with natural pigments, such as limestone, sand, charcoal, coffee, brick, inks and even a dash of pepper. It is mixed with an acrylic medium to seal in the colors.
